The Koran (The Opening) 1. Praise be to Allah, Lord of
the Worlds. The above is a quote from the first chapter of the Koran. This opening statement is an essential part of the Muslim worship, and is referred to as " the Lord's Prayer " of the Muslims. In my letter to the believer, I mentioned that the number " seven " , denotes completeness. Notice that the opening statement of the Koran has seven verses. This means that the opening statement is complete. It is also a summary of the Koran. The Koran reminds believers that there is only one God, that in this world there are two kinds of people, and that there is coming a day of judgment. These thoughts are not very comforting for those who do not believe the gospel. The 'ethnic cleansing' that has taken place in Bosnia, is a sign of the times. In my letter I mentioned that the harvest is ripe, and the day of judgment is coming soon, be warned; believers are dying for a cause. The word " Islam "
means total submission to God, for those
believers that are skeptical, let me remind you,
total submission, is what the message according
to the gospel is all about. "
Say: O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught
till ye observe the Torah and the Gospel and
that which was revealed unto you from your Lord.
That which is revealed unto you ( Muhammad )
from thy Lord is certain to increase the
contumacy and disbelief of many of them. But
grieve not for the disbelieving folk."
